SCHANUS, Mary Ann

Mary Ann Schanus of Fountain Hills, AZ died peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. Mary Ann was born December 14, 1937 in Lexington, MN and moved to Mesa, AZ in 1974. She was preceded in death by her husband, Butch (Richard) Schanus and a brother Anthony Pelowski. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Kathy and Rich Gohl (Fountain Hills, AZ) and Mary and Kent Braun (Chanhassen, MN); two granddaughters Catie and Beth Braun; and two brothers John J. Pelowski (Lexington, MN) and William Pelowski (Montgomery, MN). A memorial service was held at Sundial Mobile Home Park in Mesa on June 10, 2007. Visitation and funeral services were at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague, Minnesota on June 23, 2007. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Mary Ann to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
