EFFHAUSER, Phyllis Marie

Phyllis Marie Effhauser, 78, our precious mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend passed away June 7, 2007 in Mesa, AZ. She will join her husband, Kenneth M. Effhauser, who preceded her in death. Phyllis was born on April 6, 1929 in Hannah, ND. She moved to Mesa with her husband and three children in 1963 and soon became employed with C&M Plumbing where she worked for 22 years. Phyllis is survived by three siblings: Alice (Buck) Carpenter, Gay (Lee) Switzer, and Ronald (Polly) Nelson; three children: Randy (Sue) Effhauser, Kristy (Reed) Workman, and Kathy (Jim) Macy; seven grandchildren: Danielle (Jason) Scoggins, Jaime (Jeff) Otter, Darcy (Brent) Adamson, Amber (Ryan) Parks, Zeb (Jenn) Workman, Kenny Workman, and Kyle Macy; and six great grandchildren: Abigail, Blake, Hailey, Chloe, Grier, Ava, and one on the way. We all love her dearly and will miss her wit, compassion, and laughter. Visitation was held at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. Macdonald in Mesa. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday June 13, 2007 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 141 N. Macdonald in Mesa. Published in the East Valley Tribune on 6/10/2007.
