MORGAN, William Charles (Carl)


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, April 25, 2012 William Charles "Carl" Morgan died April 23, 2012, at his home in Prescott, Ariz. He was born to Joseph and Mable Morgan in Newport, England, Oct. 25, 1934. He survived the German bomb blitz as a boy, and served in the Royal Air Force for three years, from the ages of 18 to 21. He left England in 1960 for sunny California, and shortly after became a research laboratory assistant for 20 years, becoming a U.S. citizen in 1965. He arrived in Prescott in 1981 and became a deputy sheriff for 12 years. Retiring, he became a valued volunteer at the Shallot Hall Museum until the time of his death. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012, at Heritage Memory Mortuary. Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary, Prescott.
