Today's News-Herald Published Sunday, April 29, 2012 1:17 AM MST Virginia E. (Bush) Franks, 97, passed away April 24, 2012 in Lake Havasu City. She was born Feb. 25, 1915, in Danville, Ill., to Jacob and Ethel Bush. Virginia moved to Lake Havasu City in 2010, coming from Vicksburg, Miss. She enjoyed going to church, quilting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, baking and talking to all her family. She will be deeply missed. Virginia is survived by her daughters, Beverly Marquardt and Dorlene Frost, of Lake Havasu City; sister, Ivern Grimes, of Long Island, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 23 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Franks; five brothers and her mother and father. Services will take place May 19, in Spring Hill, Calif.
