Nacha Ortiz, 99, of Avondale died April 22, 2012, at her home. 

Mrs. Ortiz was born July 31, 1912, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Rogelio and Julia. She moved to Arizona in 2009. 

She is survived by one daughter, Rachel Herrera; one son, Salvador Payan; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday.
