Socorro Jane Padilla, 68, of Goodyear died April 28, 2012.
 
Mrs. Padilla was born Jan. 17, 1944, in San Diego to Juan Jr. and Guadalupe Garcia. She moved to Arizona when she was 1. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; one daughter, Zinnia; three sons, Joe, John and Danny; three sisters, Connie Cornero of Tolleson, Dolores Penunuri of Avondale and Eloisa Guerra of Mexico; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A rosary will be recited at 7. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Road in Avondale.
