FREDRICH,
Margaret (Peggy)
Margaret "Peggy" Fredrich 90, passed away October 18, 2011 with her children by her side. "Peggy" was born September 13, 1921, in Birmingham, AL. Margaret was the salutatorian of her high school and went on to graduate from business school. During WWII, Margaret worked for the USO where she met Roger, the love of her life.
They married and moved to Phoenix Arizona in 1963, where they raised their family and then both retired. Margaret worked for the state for 20 years, and then became involved with various volunteer opportunities, including the mentoring program that read to children in elementary school. She was a member of the Women's Elks and supported her husband in all of his activities in the American Legion and the Elks club. Margaret was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a warm and compassionate woman.
Her son, Roger Jude Fredrich of San Diego, her daughter Patricia A. Eaton of Grants Pass, Oregon, and her daughter Debbie Heck of Mesa, Arizona survive her. Margaret also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, 1 step grandchild, 9 great-grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren. All will deeply miss her devotion and caring. Peggy spent her life as a devout Catholic and has gone to heaven to join her mother, father, 4 sisters and 3 brothers as well as her husband, Roger, who passed away 9 months ago.
