The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona April 2011 Barbara Freeman 71, of Phoenix, Arizona went to be with her Lord and Savior, April 2011. Born in Wheeling, WV and came to Arizona in 1961. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of L.O.S., Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and North Phoenix Baptist Church. Survivors include: Ray, her loving husband of 50 years, children, Dawn (Chuck) Shillington and Wayne (Janine) Freeman, five special grandchildren: Wade (Denna), Sara (Brett), Matthew (Mindy), Kyle, and Michael, and one beautiful great-grandchild: Faith. Celebration of Life will be at North Phoenix Baptist Church, Friday, April 22, 11:00 a.m. 5757 N. Central Ave, Phoenix. Casual Dress preferred. Arrangements through Sunland Mortuary, Sun City, AZ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to: El Zaribah Children's Travel Fund or NPBC Camp Scholarship Fund.
