Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Wednesday, May 2, 2012 - Mr. Paul Richie Barnhart, 83, lost his battle with cancer April 27, 2012 while at his daughter’s home in North Augusta, S.C. Mr. Davis was born in Covina, Calif., in 1929, and in 1949, he married Theresa Mae Case. They raised their family in Oregon. He was and should be proud of his 35 years serving the public by working in the Oregon Department of Transportation. He lived the last 17 of his retirement years in Lake Havasu City. Survivors include three sons, Jon Barnhart, of Oregon, Bill Barnhart, of Oregon, and Jeff Barnhart, of Virginia; one daughter, Marcia Arenz, of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Case Barnhart. Dad, you will be missed. Funeral services will be private. Rowland Funeral Home, North Augusta, S.C. is in charge of arrangements.
