Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Wednesday, May 2, 2012 - William Edward Cook passed away at his Lake Havasu City, residence April 29, 2012. William was born in Chicago, Ill., April 22, 1915, to Roscoe and Mamie (McMahon) Cook. Bill, as he was known by his family and friends, attended the University of Missouri for three years and received his degree from California State University at Northridge. Bill worked for Lockheed Martin for 42 years. Bill is survived by his brother-in-law, Elmer Eugene Robinson; and nephews, Frank Thompson, of Lake Havasu City, and John Foreman, of Champaign, Ill. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Leona; his sister; and two brothers. He was a member of the Mount Olive Lutheran Church and will rest in the Mount Olive Columbarium beside his wife, Leona.
