Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Wednesday, May 2, 2012 - Denis Gerard DeNardo, 51, passed away in Lake Havasu City, on April 28, 2012. He was born on May 12, 1960, in New York City, N.Y., to Frank and Alice DeNardo. Denis lived in Corona, Calif., for the past 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved all things fishing, camping and hunting. Nothing made him happier than a day spent doing one or all of these activities. Knowing that his last day on earth was spent on his Bass boat in Lake Havasu brings a sense of comfort and peace to those who love him. Denis passed his love for the outdoors to his son, Kyle, whom he adored and was so very proud of. Denis is survived by his son, Kyle DeNardo; mother, Alice DeNardo; brothers, Doug and Dale DeNardo; and sister, Janice DeNardo. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank DeNardo. A memorial service will be at noon Saturday, at Lake Havasu Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Jim Ortega officiating.
