Barbara Walker Tenney
The family of Barbara Walker Tenney is greatly saddened to announce her unexpected passing on Monday, April 30, 2012, at the age of 61.
She will be forever missed, yet we take comfort in knowing she went home to be with the Lord.
Barb will be lovingly remembered by sons Clint and Justin Tenney of Glendale, Ariz., and her precious grandsons, Alex and Brody Tenney, also of Glendale; her parents Bill and Marion Walker of Prescott; and sisters and brothers-in-law Linda Johnson of Prescott, Kimmie and Jon Thomas of Phoenix and Alaina and Brad Bennett of Twin Falls, Idaho. She will also be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Family members who have preceded Barb in death are sister Kay Walker Beach and daughter Amanda Tenney.
Barb had the honor of being the first baby girl born in The Pass Hospital in Banning, Calif., on March 17, 1951. She graduated from Banning High School in 1969. Her greatest passions were always her family and horses. She had a generous heart and enjoyed giving gifts to all the many people she dearly loved.
A private celebration of life will be at the home of her parents on Saturday, May 19, 2012. Brother-in-law Rev. Brad Bennett will officiate.
