On April 1, 2012, we lost a good friend and beloved family member, William (Big Bill) Weaver. He was a long time resident of Parker, Ariz. and served as a detention officer/transport officer for the La Paz County Sheriff’s Office from 1996 to 2002. 

Bill is survived by his grandson, Justin Garcia; wife Cassy Wright-Garcia; and great-granddaughter Roxanne Garcia, all of Kuna, Idaho; his daughter, Sonya Weaver-Bailey of Bullhead city, Ariz.; and extended family and friends in California and Arizona. 

Bill’s ashes will be released into the Pacific Ocean sometime in late May 2012, per his request. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be missed.
