James Anthony Kaveney, 75, was born on March 19, 1937 in Wilmington, Calif., to John Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Kaveney. He met his Lord and Savior on April 20, 2012 when he passed away at his home in Parker, Ariz., with his family by his side.
He is survived by Janet, his wife of 53 years; sons: James Anthony Kaveney, Jr. (Monica) of Johns Creek, Ga., and Mark Alan Kaveney (Julie) of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; daughter, Jana Susan Kaveney-Konkright(Doug) of Parker, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren: Eileen Marie Kaveney-McKinley (David), James Anthony Kaveney, III (Valeria), Maureen Victoria Kaveney, John Patrick Kaveney and Jacob Michael Kaveney all of Georgia; Paul Joseph Kaveney, Joshua Ryan Kaveney and Michael Andrew Kaveney, all of Oregon; Ambure Nichole Fleming of Yuma, Ariz; and Cameron River Anderson of Parker. He has three great-grandchildren; Andrue Jordan Fleming, Ezra Ynez Fleming and Dexter James McKinley; brother, Charles Robert Kaveney (Barbara) of Canoga Park, Calif.; as well as many friends and loved ones at the First Baptist Church of Parker where he attended faithfully.
After working 43 years at U.S. Borax in Wilmington, Calif., he and his wife retired and moved to Parker, where she continues to reside. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Memorial Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Parker on April 24, at 10 a.m.
