The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, May 07, 2012 Reverend Roscoe E. Burk, 93, of Prescott Valley, went to meet his Lord on April 27, 2012. He was born in Tustin, Mich., on Oct. 3, 1918. He was preceded in death by his wife, Welcom, (nee Myers), three grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is survived by his children Jerry Burk (Linda) of Prescott Valley, Sharon Keele (Don), of Indiana, Iris Nola (Bash) of Hawaii and David Burk (Tina), of California; grandchildren; great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and friends across the United States. He held his ministerial credentials with the Missionary Church, headquartered in Indiana. When he retired full-time ministry, he led seasonal churches in Lake Havasu City in the winter and Burro Mountain Homestead Ranch in the spring, summer and fall. His last selfless gift was the donation of his body to the Biological Resource Center for medical science and education. A memorial will be at Bethel Baptist Church at a later date.
