William Bradley Walrath III, 69, passed away May 1, 2012 in Lake Havasu City. He was born July 28, 1942, in Evanston, Ill., to William and Virginia Walrath Jr.
Bradley, as he was known to his family and friends, lived in Lake Havasu City for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and attended the University of Wisconsin. Bradley was a big sports fan and was known as the "Baseball Encyclopedia" by his friends and family. Bradley lived by the saying, "Help some person who needs it, if they find out, it doesn't count.” Bradley will be missed.
Bradley is survived by his sister, Nancy, of Menlo Park, Calif.; brother, Steven, of Madison, Wis.; nephews, Brian Nichols and Michael Walwrath; niece, Jessica Walwrath; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
A celebration of Bradley's life will be at McKee's Pub and Grill May 15, from 5-7 p.m. Donations in Bradley's name can be made to the Special Olympics, 1133 19th St. NW, Washington DC, 20036.
