The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, May 09, 2012 Albert N. Colombo Sr. born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Jan. 16, 1914, passed away Nov. 2, 2011 in Calhan, Colo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from the Santa Fe Railroad after 30 years in June 1978. He had many hobbies, but was always known and ever remembered for his beautiful smile, love and encouragement to anyone he saw or met. Once you met him, you never forgot him. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Pauline Colombo, his children Mary Wallace and Albert N. Colombo Jr., and granddaughter Jennifer Nicole Gay. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 12 at 11 a.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church in Wickenburg, followed by a burial in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Arrangements are by David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home.
