West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, May 08, 2012 Robert "Soupy" Lopez Garcia, 56, of Tolleson died May 3, 2012, at his home. Mr. Garcia was born Oct. 5, 1955, in Los Angeles to Mary and Roman, and he moved to Arizona at an early age. He was a business entrepreneur in the upholstery industry, and was also involved in the Boy Scouts of America. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Ann; two daughters, Andrea and Alicia; two sons, Daniel and Antonio; his mother, Mary; one brother, Michael; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon with funeral services at noon Wednesday at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, 522 E. Western Ave. in Avondale. The Rev. Augustine Chacon will officiate.
