STRADLING, Floy Addine

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/11/2012 Floy Addine Leverton Stradling, 86, died Saturday, May 5, 2012, in Mesa. She was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Snowflake, the daughter of John Daniel and Floy Ella Greer Leverton. Floy married Frank Richey Stradling May 21, 1947. She graduated from the University of Arizona as a teacher and taught school in the White Mountains for 29 years. Floy is survived by her children: Kathleen Hansen of Phoenix; Kareen (Keith) Butler of Mesa; Frank (Joan) Stradling of Provo, Utah; John Stradling of St. Johns; Joe (Bonnie) Stradling of Whitesboro, Texas; 29 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Elizabeth Sherwood and grandson Jordan Stradling. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Burnham Mortuary in St. Johns.
