Dale and Claudia have one daughter, Lee Mulligan, also living in Lake Havasu City; a grandson, Brian Mulligan, of Lake Havasu City; and a granddaughter, Kristi Mulligan (Bob) Poole, who live in Menifee, Calif. After his return home, Dale, along with Claudia and his parents ran a furniture business in Fullerton, Calif. In 1955, Dale became an executive for the Boy Scouts of America. With the Boy Scouts there were several moves with his transfer to the Trans-Atlantic Council-Germany resulting in one of most exciting times in his life. During their five years in Europe, Dale and Claudia, sometimes accompanied by their daughter, Lee, traveled to many beautiful and interesting places and experienced many good times. Home again, Dale continued with the Boy Scouts in California until retiring and moving to Lake Havasu City in 1982. Dale said that if he had to do his life over again, he would not have made many changes and that he was blessed to have had many good friends, loving family and many more high points than low ones. A memorial at the Yacht Club will be in October when family can all be in town. The Neptune Society took care of arrangements. Donations may be made to The Humane Society or to New Hope Hospice.
