Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Thursday, May 10, 2012 - Michael Edward Dolfini, 51, passed away May 7, 2012. He was born May 25, 1960, to Andrew and Shirley Dolfini. Mike, at a young age, was hit by a car crossing a busy street. Before the accident and resulting brain damage, Mike was very bright and would help out his brother with his high school algebra, but afterward that ended and he was never the same. However Mike gained a new desire to draw and he was very good at it. Mike would spend time with his dad working on his “ranch” trimming and burning tree limbs, and pulling many rocks out of the ground that Michael laid up as stone walls 4-plus-feet high. People would drive 15 miles or more on dirt roads from nearby towns to see the stone walls. One of the things that Mike was proudest of in his life was his time in the military. Michael would have been 52 years old May 25. He will be deeply missed. Mike is survived by his father, Andrew Dolfini, of Nevada; brothers, Jeff, Andrew and Mark; and nieces and nephews.
