Robert Ray "Bob" Dillon, age 62, a 12-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away at home, Wednesday, May 9, 2012.
Robert, or Bob, as his friends and family knew him, was born June 11, 1949, in Sheridan, Wyo.
He graduated from Highland School in Pocatello, Idaho, and was a Vietnam Veteran, who proudly served his country in the Navy from 1967 to 1971.
Bob and his wife Sandy, were married 41 years and raised their three children in Lakewood, Calif. After 30 years, Bob retired from the Long Beach Naval Shipyard and relocated to Bullhead City where he worked at the Davis Dam for six years.
Bob is survived by his wife, Sandy Dillon; one son, Robert (Lisa); two daughters, Stacey (Mike) Keck and Virginia (David) Anderson; sister, Rae (Jeff) Etherington; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Ashley, Tyler, Conner, Nicholas, Kase and Kash; sister-in-Law, Cheryl; niece, Nicole Nakata; many friends and other beloved family members.
Services will be 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Desert Lawn Funeral Home, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley.
