CHANDLER, James Duane


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, May 10, 2012 James Duane Chandler, 55, of Prescott, Ariz., died May 4, 2012. He was born in Hobbs, N.M., on Aug. 18, 1955, the son of Vernon and Dorothy (Kambitch) Chandler. James has lived in the Prescott community for more than 30 years, and was employed by Matheson Tri-Gas. He was a kind, loving, service-minded man who will be missed by all. James is survived by his wife Nancy Jean; sisters Anita, Colleen and Karen; brother Robert; father Vernon and his wife Martha; daughter Laona (Chris); their two children Alexander and Charisma; son Lee (Stephanie) their two children Keegan and Jaelyn; niece Jennifer (Perry) and their son Christian; brother-in-law Brian (Carlynn); nephew Jeff (Holly); niece Christi (Rick); and numerous other nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother, Dorothy (Kambitch) Chandler. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greyhound Pets Association of Arizona, P.O. Box 2365, Glendale, AZ 85311, or the Yavapai Humane Society, 1625 Sundog Ranch Road, Prescott, AZ 86301. The Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
