The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, May 10, 2012 Thomas Michael Peterson, 65, died on May 9, 2012. He was a resident of Payson Rim Country Health. Tom was born May 16, 1946, to Shirley and Leonard Peterson in Chicago, Ill. He made friends as a child in Birmingham, Ala., during his days in the Peace Corps, living in Pittsburgh, Pa., during college at Dennison University in Ohio, advanced studies in Chico, Calif., working in Healdsburg, Calif., and finally Prescott, Ariz. His life is remembered for his pursuit of knowledge and listening to that different drummer. He is survived by his sisters, Michele MacBride of Prescott and Denise Washburn of Sodus Point, N.Y.
