The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, May 11, 2012 Gerald "Jake" DeBolt Born in Sandwich, Ill., on Jan. 28, 1930, Jake passed away in Southern California on May 8, 2012. He served in the Army as a corporal during the Korean War. Most of his life, he worked as a carpenter in Orange County, Calif., where he raised a niece and three nephews. Upon retirement, Prescott became the home he loved, where he lived until his health compelled a move back to Southern California to be near family two years ago. He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor. Jake is survived by a brother, Jack DeBolt; niece Ann; and nephews Tim, Mike and Gene DeBolt. His ashes will be returned to The Prescott National Cemetery.
