Harold G. Trenheiser 85, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away at Golden Memories Care Home on March 16, 2012 with his family at his bedside.
Harold was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and served with distinction in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He met his wife Carol Meyer while in the Grace Lutheran Church choir in North Bellmore, N.Y. They relocated to Phoenix in the mid 70's where Harold began his career as a baker at Winchell's and C. Steele in Scottsdale.
Harold is survived by his wife Carol, son David, and daughters Lori (Leonetti) and Stacie. He is also survived by four grandchildren to whom he was devoted: Lexi, Dominic, Gabi and Enya. Harold enjoyed music, and was a charter member of All Saints Lutheran Church's choir. He enjoyed traveling by R.V. and camping.
A service will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church, in Phoenix beginning at 5:30pm on March 22, 2012.
