Sally Rae Leiter, "our Angel of Love for our family," joined the Lord very suddenly May 2, 2012, in Show Low.
She was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Muskegon, Mich. to Howard and Dorothy Kreifeldt who preceded her in death. She met her soul mate and partner for life, James, in 1966 and was very successful in raising a wonderful family, providing guidance, love and mentoring. Sally was also a very successful business owner. She will be loved and missed forever and a day.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, James Leiter; daughters: Leann Coakley of Chandler, Claudia Springer (Frank) of Grand Haven, Mich., Dr. Melissa Linner (John) of Gilbert, who she absolutely cherished; brother Michael Kreifeldt (Gayle) of Muskegon, Mich.; and two sisters: Kathy Martin (Robert), Melissa Forrester of Muskegon, Mich. and many nephews and nieces. She loved her grandchildren and had a special bond with all of them, Courtney Ellen Springer, Trevor Frank Springer, Paige Rae Springer, Kaylee Rae Coakley and Mitchell James Coakley.
She also will be missed and had a very special relationship with Bella, her wonderful pet and companion.
Contributions in memory of Sally can be made to the Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1975, Lakeside, AZ 85929, or contact Wanda Jo Prevo at (928) 358-8779, where she was a passionate volunteer for the needs of others and was a member of the Angel Watch Program.
