WOOD, Julia Mae (Pete)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona April 2011 Julia M. (Pete)Wood Age 89 passed away March 31, 2011 and took a journey to be with her beloved Lowell Wood (Woody). She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Born to parents William Petrie and Charlotte Nelson in Logansport, Indiana, May 6, 1921. She moved to Arizona in June 1969 with Woody and their son Russell (Spook). Her survivors include her children Rebbecca (Becky) Poole, William (Bear) spouse Laura and Russell (Spook) spouse Nancy. Julia had six grandchildren Sheryl (Poole) Watts, Christopher Poole, William (Chip) Wood, Julie Ann (Wood) Harrington, Liza, (Wood) Rosa and Kelly (Wood) Symons. She also had eight great grandchildren some nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 April 7.2011 at Sunland Mortuary 15826 Del Webb Blvd Sun City, AZ.
