Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Tuesday, May 15, 2012 Globe — Elisabeth M. “Betty” Jackson, age 99, of Globe, Ariz. passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Heritage Health Care Center. She was born in New Haven, Conn. on Jan. 30, 1913, the daughter of Elisabeth (Woodbridge) and Charles G. Morris. Betty was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Globe. She was involved in the Manzanita Garden Club and the Audubon Society; she enjoyed bird watching and she was active in the yearly bird count. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Earl Jackson on July 4, 1998; her parents; three brothers and two sisters. Betty leaves behind in loving memory her two sons, Martin Allan Jackson (Cecelia) and David Bruce Jackson (Babette) of Berkley, Calif., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 318 S. Hill St., in Globe, Ariz. A reception will follow. Funeral arrangements for Elisabeth M. “Betty” Jackson were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services, Globe.
