West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, May 15, 2012 Dexter William McSkimmings, 64, of Goodyear died May 5, 2012, at his home. Mr. McSkimmings was born March 11, 1948, in Winnipeg, Canada, to Daniel and Ellanor. He was an Air Force veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was a sheet metal worker and was a member of the local Sheet Metal Workers Union No. 206 in San Diego, Calif. He moved to Arizona in 2009. He is survived by his nephew, Travis J. Burchett. A committal service will take place at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix at a later date. Condolences may be left for the family at avenidasfuneralchapel.com.
