Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Virginia Lee Owens (March 23, 1924 - May 13, 2012) Virginia Lee Owens went Home to be with the Lord on May 13, 2012 in Taylor, AZ. She was born March 23, 1924 in Fairfield, Ohio. “Gin” had a love of animals and volunteered at the Four Paws rescue center. She had a quick wit and keen sense of humor. Virginia is survived by her son: Clarence (Andy) Lenz, five stepsons Calvin, Mike (Lori), Terry, John (Sandy) and Greg (Tammy) Owens, many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years W.C. (Cal) Owens, Mike Lenz (Son), Patricia Hensley (Sister) and her parents. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2012 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice Compassus of Lakeside, Arizona. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Taylor handled the arrangements.
