Scott Alan Higgins 37, Mesa Az, passed away on March 5th 2012.
He was born on Sept 30th 1974 in Mesa Az. Scott grew up in AZ and met his recently wedded wife Susan R. Higgins in 1988.
Susan, also born in Az married Scott on Jan 20th 2012. Thanks to many that made that possible especially Jay Holmberg, best friend of both and brother by choice, as well as Hospice family care and their staff as well as chaplain, made it possible.
Scott especially wanted me to thank Marta Grassi, who quickly he grew to love as much as I did for all the love care and support that women gave the two of us when no one else could or would, thanks you Ms. Marta, you forever will be always loved and remembered for the smiles you brought to Scott's face as well as the many he put on yours. I can't thank you enough for seeing me through it and sticking by our sides. Your are one heck of an RN and your family in our hearts, for the outstanding job that became more then just a job.
I am so blessed to have had the honor to have you as his nurse. We all are and love you lady!! Loved by few and feared by many, Scott Alan Higgins (Scotty to Hotty) or aka(Red)is and always will be forever a part of his Brother Billy and his family, his mom Connie Moore as well as mother in law Pamela, his closest friends Jay Holmberg, Jody Mchloe Michael Hershberger, Dennis Kelley, Michael Clause and by his wife and his 5 kids Breanna, Brendan, Corey, Michael, and Aiden you will forever live on in our hearts. Best of friends Brian Parker, you have brought us all many laughs, lots of tears and some crazy memories you will forever live through each and every one of us in our hearts and thoughts and memories, forever and ever we love and all of us miss you so very much!
REST IN PEACE SCOTT! Loves and respects always. To all of you mentioned above there is a special message I was to pass on to you all from Scott. He wanted me to tell all of you don't cry in sadness when the time comes, instead remember all the fun times and crazy things that we have all done that brought smiles, good thoughts and good memories.
Celebrate the good life we all shared together with him, and know this much THE SPIRIT NEVER DIES we will all someday reunite when it's our time. In the mean time HE LOVES US ALL AND THINK OF HIM RIDING ACROSS THE SKY WHEN YOU HEAR THE CRACKLING THUNDER on his bike chasing out all the lames and preparing a place for us all to come home to when it's our time. When we go home Scott will be there to bring us over as Carol was for him. Never forget he loves us and always lives through us and he is with EACH OF US IN SPIRIT watching over us all and will let you know in his own way when he's with each of us....
Until then love each other like family should and let no one come between us no matter what because we are his and always will be his as well as our own.
Family you don't need to be blood to be family, just loyal, faithful and there for each other in ways that matter most. Don't ever, ever lose site of that because that's something he learned to appreciate more then anything. Love, Scott
