SCHLAEPFER, Robert G.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona April 2012 Robert G. Schlaepfer 90, passed away April 22, 2012. Robert proudly served in World War II in the Army Air Corps 73rd Bomb Wing stationed in Saipan. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Regina. Robert is survived by his children, Diane (Frank) Beranek, Audrey Schlaepfer (Judith Bennis), Robert (Jo Ann) Schlaepfer and his grandchildren, Justin, Ryan and Griffen. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM Thursday, April 26th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 7655 E. Main Street, Scottsdale. Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the World War II Memorial at National Mall, Washington, DC.
