The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona November 2011 Norman J. Roberts 87, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on November 19, 2011. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Catherine. Survived by his two daughters, Kristine and Kathleen, and son-in-law, Karl. He was uncle to many nieces and nephews and the last of his siblings to pass away. Born and raised in Detroit, MI, he was an Army veteran of WW II, which included working at the Pentagon. As a civilian, he worked as a Purchasing Agent and Building Manager for Giffels Associates, Inc., retiring after 37 years. A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00am on Thurs., Dec. 1, 2011, at St. Patrick Catholic Community, 10815 N. 84th St., Scottsdale, followed by a reception.
