Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Sunday, May 20, 2012 StacyAnn Chiate Strauss, 68, born in Phoenix, in 1943, passed away Thursday night, May 17, 2012. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 50 years Harry Strauss, 2 sons, Michael Strauss, 49, a Captain with JetBlue Airways and Jerrod Strauss, 39, Director of Sales for Online Vertical Advertising Network. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Cassidy and Benjamin, her mom, Gladys Greene, sister, Sande Davidson and brother, Barton Chiate. She is preceded in death by her father Jack Chiate, her sister, Dee Lynn and granddaughter, Delaney Madison Strauss. StacyAnn led an active life; she was involved in her children’s education, as a volunteer, a President of various PTA’s. In later years she was a concierge in Sedona and a Docent for the Museum of Northern Arizona. A wonderful graphic artist, she and her sister Dee helped in the creation, of Quilt Camp in the Pines. She touched many lives and will be missed more than words can say. Private services will be held.
