Gene Cometa, 77, passed away in Lake Havasu City May 15, 2012 with his family at his side. He was born September 15, 1934 in Rochester, New York.
 
Gene was a United States Air Force Veteran. He had a lifelong interest in aircraft and enjoyed traveling with his RV and had a great love for all of his family. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Myrna; daughter, Cathy (John) Emmans; son, Tom (Debbie) Cometa; grandchildren, Whitney Podboy, Clint Cometa, Jennifer Herr, Brian Emmans and Christin Upton. He also had seven great-grandchildren, Abby, Grace, Lindsey, Jordan, Ethan, Luca and Ana.
