VIVIAN, Billy D.

Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from May 18 to May 30, 2012 - Billy D. Vivian, age 75, a 27-year resident, of the Tri-state area, passed away at home on May 15, 2012, in Fort Mohave, Ariz. He was born November 4, 1936, in Belleview, Ill. Billy worked for "Ma Bell", currently known as AT&T, for 32 years, retiring in 1985. Billy and Nancy met in 1980 while working for the Old Ma Bell. They fell in love and married July 10, 1982, and had a wonderful 30 plus years together. They took early retirement after three years of marriage, and moved to Bullhead City from Los Angeles, Calif. They moved to Fort Mohave 16 years ago, and built the home that was to be his last. Billy loved life here in Arizona. He is now in God's hands and as hard as it is to lose him, Billy needed to go home. We will grieve for some time, but we will be OK – Billy taught us that. Billy is survived by his wife, Nancy; his two loving daughters, Elaine (Steve) Wagner and Diane Vivian; his very cherished granddaughter, Sarah Vivian Behrman; and his brother Darrel Vivian. Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 218 "D" Street in Needles, Calif. The Rosary will follow at 11:00 a.m., and then immediately followed by a funeral Mass.
