Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from May 20 to May 27, 2012 - Lois Ella Wenzel, age 76, a 41-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz., passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, May 12, 2012. She was born on September 8, 1935, in Springfield, Ark. Lois was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother, who had a vibrant faith and dedication to the Lord. She taught Sunday School for over 30 years, and was very active in many community organizations. Lois is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, William N. Wenzel; four children, Brenda Wenzel Burgin of Starke, Fla., and David L. Wenzel, Karen Wenzel Jordan and Lisa Wenzel Green, all of Bullhead City; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A celebration of Lois' life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at her home church, Valley Christian Church, 1706 North Oatman Rd, Bullhead City, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lois' name to the Valley Christian Church Building Fund, 1706 North Oatman Rd, Bullhead City, AZ 86442.
