The Denver Post, Denver, Colorado Saturday, May 7, 1994 Rita H. Mars Davis of Prescott Valley, Ariz., a homemaker, died April 28 in Prescott. She was 96. Services were Thursday at Olinger's Chapel. Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery. She was born Aug. 13, 1897, in Wall Township, N.J. Her husband, C.S. Davis, preceded her in death. Mrs. Davis lived in Denver and Aurora from 1923 to 1986. She then moved to Arizona. She is survived by two sons, James, Rockford, Iowa, and John, Prescott; a stepson, Vick, Los Angeles; three stepdaughters, Luella Sink, Homer City, Pa., Leone Pennington, Canon City, and Doris Frost, Sun City West, Ariz.; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and 14 step-grandchildren.
