Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Monday, May 21, 2012 - Alvin J. Kirsch Jr., passed away at the age of 78 May 11, 2012 in Lake Havasu City. Alvin was born in Milwaukee, Wis., to Alvin and Minerva (Mueller) Kirsch, June 18, 1933. Skip, as he was known to family and friends, worked in drywall construction most of his life. As family and friends will always remember Skip was a great player when it came to a water fight. He will be loved and missed be all. Skip is survived by his wife, Donna Kirsch, of Lake Havasu City; his daughter, Mary Ann Kirsch, of Lake Havasu City; his sons, John Kirsch, of Newton, Iowa, Dennis Kirsch, of Lake Havasu City, and Gary (Laura) Kirsch, of Lake Havasu City; daughter in-law, Linda Kirsch, of Oregon City, Ore.; his stepchildren, Deanne Dobrick, of Lake Havasu City, Ted Robinson, of Apple Valley, Calif., Karen (Greg) Williams, of Corona, Calif., and Michele (Dave) Cox, of Orting, Wash. Many grandchildren, and even many more great-grandchildren also survive him. Skip is preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly; two sons, Bruce and Wayne; grandson, Jesy; two sisters; a brother; and his parents. Skip chose to have his body donated to science.
