Patty Murtlow was born Aug. 12, 1969, in Lancaster, Calif., and after bravely battling illness for many years she was taken from us far too soon, on May 17, 2012.
Patty was an amazing person and it showed in her as a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Patty knew so many people and she touched many lives with her infectious smile and her heart-felt laughter. Her generosity was felt by everyone who knew her. Whether it affected them directly or indirectly, everyone saw how she was always willing to help someone in need.
Along with her beautiful smile and ever-present laughter was her sense of humor. Patty was a prankster at heart and loved to pull a good trick on someone! She kept everyone on their toes not knowing what new trick was up her sleeve.
She was a sports fan and spent many years rooting on her sons during many sporting events! She would often be heard with a blow horn and cowbell cheering the kids on!
Patty is going to be forever missed by her four sons, Steven Demoruelle, John (Terra) Murtlow, Jeremy Murtlow and Westlie Murtlow; two grandchildren, Ashton and Tallen Murtlow; father, Charles Webster; brother and sister, Charles Webster Jr. and Rayann Harris. Her mother preceded her in death.
In Patty's last days Mike was beside her every day offering her comfort and support.
A sad goodbye said far too soon - a bright and shining light has been put out, but in our memories of Patty her light will shine brightly forever! We all love you and will forever miss you! The pain is gone, rest peacefully!
Join us for a celebration of her life. It will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Dambar and Steakhouse.
