Services will be at 11 a.m. May 26, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, Prescott, Revive Building. Arrangements by Hampton Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, May 22, 2012 Lewis Andrew Pendergast Jr., 47, passed away at his home in Prescott, Ariz., on Sunday, May 13, 2012. He was born on June 9, 1964, in Yuma, Ariz., to Lewis Pendergast Sr. and Barbara Wilky. Lewis is survived by his wife, Barbara Pendergast; son Trent Pendergast; stepchildren Charles Maddox and Connie Baker of Indiana; seven grandchildren; mother Barbara McGinn of Prescott; three sisters, Sherri Goodner of Idaho, Sabrina McKown or Chino Valley and Andrea Robertson of Texas; and a brother, Harold Pendergast of Phoenix. Lewis grew up in Prescott and graduated from Prescott High School in 1982. He moved to Phoenix for his adult career. He suffered a heart attack in 2005 and moved back to Prescott in 2006. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He loved working in the yard and helping people. He was a kid at heart. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at First Baptist Church in the Revive Building. Lunch will be served afterwards. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
