Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona AMELIA KANE (Died May 19, 2012) Amelia Kane, 78, has gone to be with her Father in Heaven after living a life full of love, fun, family and friends. A wake will be held at her home in Canyon Day on Friday, May 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Amelia was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and a friend to many people. She will be missed by all who knew her. Amelia was born in Whiteriver, Arizona and spent most of her life on the White Mountain Apache Reservation. She was born to Eulalia Quintero and Robert Cosay on August 7th, 1933. She attended school at Fort Apache High School and Haskell Indian Jr. College. Her favorite hobbies and interests included sewing, reading, taking care of her grandkids, collecting souvenirs and memorabilia of Willie Nelson (country singer) and Elvis Presley. She also greatly enjoyed her weekly joyrides provided by her daughter, Natalie. Amelia was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph D. Kane, and family members Ophelia Kane, Lavonne Kane, Racie Kane and Andre Walker. She is survived by her children: Randolph “Randy” Kane, Mitchell Kane, Natalie Kane; her goddaughter, Jonie Clerdon; her grandchildren, Glenna Vee Massey, Mildred M. Massey, Brando E. Kane, Jake S. Declay, Randy Kane, Jr.;” her great grandchildren, Blaine Lee, Tanner Lee, William Lee, Kylah Growler, Kijana Growler, Khobe Growler, Kayden Growler; her great-great granchildren, Skyler DiValentino, Alesana Larzelere; her brother, Carney Cosay, Sr., her sisters Serena Altaha,Vivian Williams, Isabel Cosay and Lucille Moody, and many other relatives and wonderful friends.
