WINKER, Albert J.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, May 23, 2012 Albert J. Winker, born Feb. 26, 1919, in New York, died May 16, 2012, in Prescott, Ariz. Albert served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his move to Prescott in 2003, he volunteered for many years at the local VA hospital. He was also active in the local Wood Bee Carvers club. He is survived by his son Thomas Winker of Prescott, and his grandson Cary Thomas Winker of St. Louis, Mo. No services are planned at this time. Information provided by survivors.
