Derek James Limon, 27, formerly of Avondale died May 18, 2012, in Avondale. 

He is survived by his parents, Debbie Sjoerdsma and Jimmy; his stepfather, Mark Sjoerdsma; his stepmother, Penny; two daughters, Nevaeh and Lanei; one son, Jaremi; and two brothers, Matthew Sjoerdsma and Justin.

A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. May 30 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 512 N. 93rd Ave. in Tolleson, with a rosary recital to follow.
