Betty L. Fehner, 87, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2012 at her home in Lake Havasu City. Betty Lou was born on Feb. 24, 1925 in Oakland, Calif. to Manuel and Adelaide (Peacock) Simmons. On Aug. 5, 1975 she married the love of her life, William Fehner.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bill; her sister, Judy (Bill) McDonald and brother, Jim (Betty) Hugel; four daughters, Sheryl (Gary) Raeburn of Aurora, Colo.; Denise (Dave) Barnett, Bakersfield, Calif.; Patti Smith, Dove Canyon, Calif. and Teri Templeton, San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
The family wishes to give their heartfelt thanks to Shirley, Barbara, Lauren and all of the CNA’s at Hospice of Havasu. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Betty to Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ.
