Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Saturday, May 26, 2012 - Elizabeth Patricia Michael passed away at her home May 23, 2012 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 82. Elizabeth was born Dec. 28, 1929, in Black Pool, England. Elizabeth moved to Lake Havasu City 18 years ago, from Villa Park, Ill., where she worked as an executive secretary. Elizabeth was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge. In past years, she was a professional ballroom dancer and looked forward to her Wednesday bingo games. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Karen Kempe, of Lake Havasu City; sons, Paul Michael, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Kenneth Michael, of Lake Havasu City; granddaughters, Tara Crosby and her husband, Patrick, and Elizabeth Michael; grandson, Tyler Schwed; and her great-granddaughter, Aubrianna. Visitation will be Thursday at 2 p.m., at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
