PRIEBE, Michael Edward

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 2011 Michael Edward Priebe, 66, joined his parents Leo and Lorraine and daughter-in-law Judy in heaven Saturday February 19th 2011. Born in California April 3rd 1944 he was raised in Yucaipa, Ca. In high school, he was a track star, holding the state record for the 100 yrd dash. He served the US Navy on the U.S.S. Intrepid from 1961 to 1965. After his service he developed a passion for golf that he pursued throughout his life. He moved to Arizona shortly after discharge and started a long career in telephony and technology. He was a graduate of Phoenix College. During his career he held management positions as well as ownership ventures and as a highly regarded consultant. After spending considerable time in the bay area and the pacific northwest, he returned to Arizona to be near his children and grandchildren. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife Katherine, Brother Jerry, Son Christopher, Son and daughter-in-law Mark and McKenna, Son and daughter-in-law Mathew and Helle, Grandchildren Joyce, Leo, Stella and Georgia, and the mother of his children Marilyn.
