Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, May 30, 2012 Grace Louise Stanneart, 78, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born in Des Moines, N.M. on Feb. 28, 1934. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, confidant, and a friend to so many. Grace retired from the Mountain Bell Telephone Company to become a stay-at-home mom at the urging of her three children. During her lifetime she enjoyed being a Girl Scout Leader, water skiing, camp outings at Roosevelt Lake, bowling and of course being a member of the Pinal Mountain Emblem Club. Grace was an avid bowler and held numerous offices for the Globe-Miami Bowling Association, including secretary of the leagues that she bowled in. Grace was a member of the Pinal Mountain Emblem Club and held many, many offices throughout her years of active service for her local and state club. Grace was just elected for the second time as State President for the Emblem Club. Grace will definitely be missed by the organizations that she so proudly and enthusiastically served. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Joe Stanneart Sr.; her parents, James and Esther Killmer; her brother, James Killmer, Jr.; and sisters, Dorothy Martin and Anna Jean Roten. Grace leaves behind in loving memory her three children, JoLee Stanneart, Jackie (Terri) Stanneart, Jr. of Globe, and David (Renee) Stanneart of Scottsdale; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Miles Funeral Services Globe Chapel, 237 S. Sutherland Street, Globe, Ariz. Interment will be held at Pinal Cemetery, Main Street in Central Heights, Ariz.
