BONI, Robyn Chewy


Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, May 30, 2012 Robyn Chewy Boni was born on Nov. 12, 1984 in San Carlos, Ariz. at the San Carlos IHS. She was born to her mother, Kathy Boni Perry. Robyn passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the age of 27. She grew up in Peridot, Ariz. and was raised by her late grandparents, Roland and Stella Stanley Boni; and her parents, Daniel and Kathy Perry, Jr. As a young child she was a “biter,” leaving her teeth marks on everyone, always playing with her brothers, sisters and cousins. She loved making hide outs, playing hide-and-seek, house and sunrise dances. Robyn could be described in many words. She was independent, loving, caring, strong, and family-oriented. Her unique, one of a kind smile and laugh could light up any room. Robyn will be remembered as a beautiful young lady, granddaughter, daughter, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, mother and friend. She attended San Carlos Jr. High, San Carlos High School, Central Arizona College, Rio Salado College and Eastern Arizona College. She was planning to attend Pima Medical Center starting July 2, 2012. She participated in numerous pageants. She held the title of Jr. Miss San Carlos, Miss San Carlos High School, and Miss San Carlos Apache 2004 and participated in the Miss Indian Arizona and Miss Indian World pageants. She was blessed with one son, Rueben Alexander Boni on Sept. 7, 2006. She loved and cared for her son tremendously!! She was planning to change his name to Rueben Alexander Roland Rankin Boni. She worked as a Case Manager for the ALTCS, CNA for Copper Mountain Inn and Heritage Health Care, Home Health Aide for the older adult center, food server and as a Players Club attendant at the Apache Gold Casino, and an Office Assistant to the former Vice Chairman, Robert Howard. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Roland and Stella Stanley Boni, and Daniel and Lucille Randall Perry, Sr. Robyn is survived by her son, Rueben Boni; her parents, Daniel and Kathy Perry Jr.; sisters, Shalenia Chee and Elizabeth Boni; brothers, Jonathan (Valerie) Chee, Ronnie Boni, Nathan Perry, and Kyle Perry; God sisters, Desiree Hooke, Clarice Logan, Ernestine Thompson, Felicia Henry, Sheila Rambler, and Annalisa Hinton; and goddaughter, Nylynn Benally. Wake was held Friday, May 25, 2012 at Nathan Perry’s residence/Peridot Sidding Road in Peridot, Ariz. Funeral service was held Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Burdette Hall in San Carlos, Ariz. Interment followed at Middle Mesa Cemetery in Bylas, Ariz. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
